After-school Enrichment

The Stevens After-school Enrichment (ASE) Program is a PTA-Stevens School partnership with local enrichment vendors supporting fun and enriching activities for the students at Stevens.

Fall 2026

After-School Enrichment Class Offerings

All classes are 60 minutes long, from 2:30-3:30 (unless otherwise noted).

Students will be given a small snack at 2:25 before they join their after-school class.

Classes will start the week of September 28th and run through December 10th (week of November 23rd excluded).

Mondays Class Offerings


The Art of Baking with Ms. Karbula: Grades 3–5, 2:30-3:30 pm               $250
Students will bake and decorate delicious treats together while learning the basics of baking in a fun, hands-on environment! At the end of the session, students will receive their own cookbook featuring all of the recipes they made throughout the 10-week class. Students will develop basic baking skills, including measuring ingredients, following recipes, and using kitchen tools safely. They will also build confidence, creativity, and independence while practicing teamwork and learning the science and techniques behind their favorite baked treats.

Space Adventures (Bricks 4 Kidz): Grades K-2, 2:30-3:30 pm                    $230
Learn about space exploration and build motorized LEGO® Bricks models related to the NASA space program! We will build astronaut training equipment, space robots, rockets and more. We'll learn about what it's like to be an astronaut in space and talk about the coolest missions to outer space. Let's get ready to launch!


Lego Robotics (Bricks 4 Kidz): Grades 3-5, 2:30-4:00  pm                $340 (90 minute class)
Let your imagination run wild with marvelous machines! In this class for inventive kids, we will explore fun new ways to build autonomous gadgets using sensors and motors, and discuss how real-world robots make industries function. Students will design and create original robotic arms, paper airplane launchers, catapults and more. Then, using everything we have learned, we will construct a collaborative mega-ball-mover! Note: coding is not the primary focus of this class - students will be troubleshooting robotic behaviors with hands-on engineering​.​​

​​Tuesday Class Offerings

Enchanted Art with Willow, Grades 3-5, 2:30-3:30 pm              $285

Draw and paint hybrid animals, magical creatures, and fantastical lands. Imagine; dragons, mer-cats, griffins, and other magical creatures while hearing Willow's tales of growing up in the Alaskan wilderness. Students will vote as a class on which creatures to draw, color, paint, and imagine. This class will combine instruction with creative prompts to strengthen artistic skills and creative thinking. Instructed by artist, illustrator, and storyteller Willow Heath. www.willowheath.com

 

Seasonal Arts and Crafts with Ms. Karbula: Grades K-3, 2:30-3:30 pm            $200

Students will join Miss Karbula for arts and crafts based on the Fall season! Class will start with a snack and introducing the craft, then students will have time to work on their projects and take them home when they are done!Students will develop creativity and fine-motor skills while exploring different art materials and techniques. They will also practice following directions, making independent creative choices, and building confidence through hands-on art experiences.

Thursday Class Offerings

Thursdays: Oceanography with Ms. Glory Wilson: Grades K-2, 2:30-3:30 pm                $285

Please join us for an incredible opportunity to explore the depths of the sea! This dynamic enrichment class for students in grades K-2 infuses Science, Art, Music, and Geography into an immersive learning experience. In this course, we will study various sea creatures, learn about coral reefs, the deepest parts of the ocean, and fascinating science facts through hands-on experiments. Students will express their creativity by drawing and painting life beneath the sea. We will also experience marine soundscapes by learning ocean-themed songs and listening to the unique music produced by whales.
