The Stevens After-school Enrichment (ASE) Program is a PTA-Stevens School partnership with local enrichment vendors supporting fun and enriching activities for the students at Stevens.

Class Offerings
Classes will run from 4/27 through 6/12 – a total of 7 sessions for most classes, except the classes that meet on Monday, which will only meet for 6 sessions. All classes are 60 minutes long, from 2:30-3:30 (unless otherwise noted). Students will be given a small snack at 2:25 before they join their after-school class.

Monday Class Offerings - (6 sessions- no class on 5/25)
1. Famous Artists in the Making! With Glory Wilson (K & 1st grade) $230
Your child will study, create and design their own art inspired by Vincent van Gogh (expressive) Claude Monet (impressionist), Pablo-Picasso (abstract), Frida Kahlo (colorful portraits) and Yayoi Kusama (fun polka-dots) as well as inspiration by Japanese anime artists! This class is filled with excitement!
Your child will paint, sketch, draw, and create their own art while learning about famous artists from the past. Your child will also learn about Art History and use their own creativity to design their own art masterpieces. This class is engaging and filled with fun and excitement. Enroll your child now!
2. Clay Club! - Ms. Karbula (3rd-5th Grade) $300
Our fabulous art teacher Ms. Karbula will help students use a variety of pottery techniques and materials to create ceramic art.
Tuesday Class Offerings
1. Gadgets & Gizmos with Bricks4Kids (K- 2nd grade) $160
Build and explore crazy contraptions that really work your brain! Students use LEGO® Bricks, axles, pulleys, gears and motors to create fun and interactive models. We'll make cool gizmos like battle tops, Mini-Fig movers, paper crinklers and motorized spin art. Kids will love playing with their creations and learn about engineering along the way!
2. Stop-Motion Animation (**90 min) with BEAM Experiences (3rd-5th grade) $235
**90 minute class – dismissal at 4:00pm
Bring your story to life by making stop motion animated movies! Working in teams, we will build sets and characters using LEGO® bricks, clay, and other materials, then write, direct, and edit unique stories. We will learn about narrative structure, setting the tone, and using special effects to communicate stories to an audience. This program takes a strong social-emotional learning lens and focuses on skills like empathy, giving and receiving feedback, and goal-setting. By the end of the session, kids will complete multiple animation exercises and a final film project to share with the world!
THURSDAY AFTERNOONS
1. Woodland Art with Willow (3rd-5th grade) $225
Draw, paint, shade, and sketch woodland animals and whimsical forest nature scenes. Learn from step-by-steps, inspiration, and creative prompts how to draw trees, leaves, mushrooms, bunnies, owls, foxes, hedgehogs, bears, and more in this mixed media art class instructed by artist, illustrator, and storyteller, Willow Heath. willowheath.com
