  • Are you interested in shaping the future of the Stevens PTA? Please join the nominating committee, which is working to recruit board members for next year's PTA board. For more information or to sign up, please write info@stevenspta.org.

  • Save the date: at 7pm on Thursday, November 18th, Montlake PTA is hosting a forum with state and local legislators. Sen. Jamie Pedersen, Rep. Nicole Macri, and Rep. Frank Chopp all plan to be there. Seattle School Board President Chandra Hampson will also be attending.

  • The PTA invites you to join us this coming Saturday morning from 9am to 10am to pick up litter on the school campus and surrounding neighborhood. Please email info@stevenspta.org to get on the mailing list for reminders or just show up. We'll get some steps in, eat some donuts, and make a visible difference at Stevens and the surrounding neighborhood.

  • Tree Sale is Looking for Volunteers! We will be having our annual holiday tree sale again this year on December 3rd & 4th! If you are interested in helping, please email gaygilmore@gmail.com or text Gay at 206-228-9227

  • TuTu's Pantry and Winter Wishes Fundraiser: Needed: Bakers and Crafters! With just weeks until the return of Tree Sale on December 3rd and 4th, we are looking for BAKERS and CRAFTERS to help us stock our Bake and Crafts Sale tables for the BIG Stevens Tree Sale. Contact Amy Foster (amynfoster@gmail.com) for more information or to sign up!

Join us Tuesday, November 2nd from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for a panel discussion of Meany Middle School. We'll hear from current Meany families, including families from the Stevens community. The folks from Meany are hoping to have an opportunity for 4th/5th (or any grade) parents to hear directly from parents whose kids graduated from Stevens and are currently at Meany. The PTA invites you to join us on the first Saturday morning from 9am to 10am of every month to pick up litter on the school campus and surrounding neighborhood. We'll provide the garbage picker uppers, garbage bags, coffee and donuts. Please email info@stevenspta.org to get on the mailing list for reminders or just show up. Here is the schedule for the year: Nov. 6, Dec. 4, Jan. 8, Feb. 5, March 5, April 2, May 7, June 4. We'll get some steps in, eat some donuts, and make a visible difference at Stevens and the surrounding neighborhood. Thanks to Programs chair Margaret Pak Enslow for the great idea and for organizing these cleanups!

Tree Sale is Looking for Volunteers! We will be having our annual holiday tree sale again this year on December 3rd & 4th! This is a key fundraising opportunity for the PTA and a wonderful community tradition. For those who are not familiar, we sell hundreds of trees, wreaths and greenery each year during a two day popup tree sale right on the Steven’s blacktop. TuTu's Pantry and Winter Wishes Fundraiser: Needed: Bakers and Crafters! With just weeks until the return of Tree Sale on December 3rd and 4th, we are looking for BAKERS and CRAFTERS to help us stock our Bake and Crafts Sale tables for the BIG Stevens Tree Sale. 100% of the proceeds from the Bake and Crafts tables will benefit Tutus Pantry families, especially those who need additional assistance over the holiday break. CRAFTERS: contact Amy Foster (amynfoster@gmail.com) no later than December 1st, to let her know what type of craft you’ll be making, prices, and any ideas you have for displaying your items. Past craft items sell in the $2 - $20+ range and have included ornaments, gift tags, candles, and handmade lunch bags (just to name a few). BAKERS: start thinking about yummy recipes!
