Alongside mastering movement, students will explore paths for self-expression, community engagement, and civic participation. Outdoor classes will meet rain or shine. Students are required to bring wear weather-appropriate clothing in order to participate in class activities. Although class will be conducted at Stevens outdoor spaces, on occasion the instructor may take class off campus to Volunteer Park and/or Interlaken Park. On those “excursion” dates, an additional parent volunteer to accompany will be requested. All students must sign a waiver prior to participation via parkourvisions.org/waiver.

3rd Grade to 5th Grade
Dungeons & Dragons Student Club - TBD
During Winter Session, Meany 8th graders and Stevens' alums students brought their Dungeons and Dragons expertise to Stevens and served as campaign guides in an adventure filled game of storytelling, problem solving, and creativity. Currently, our intrepid guides are looking at their very busy middle school schedules to see if they can return and lead another campaign for Stevens! Please indicate your interest in participating should schedules align and we can confirm schedules and times at a later date. Although the previous session met on Thursdays, Wednesday may work better for our guides.
Stevens’ Librarian, Tanya Kamila, serves as Advisor. The DnD guides and Ms. Kamila are volunteering their time to run this club. Key to participating is a flexible schedule and/or Kids Club attendance as the meeting time requires returning to the school. DND club typically meets only for about 6 weeks and so will likely start later in the spring session and end earlier. Because of the timing with middle school, students who would like to participate in the club would need to make arrangements to come back to the school at a later time. This club DOES NOT meet right after school. Kids Club students would be dismissed back to KC at the end of the club meeting.
