I was born in
Canada. I have
grown up in a
military family.
I have traveled
a lot. I lived
in Hawaii for
three years and
many other of
the US states. I
lived and went
to school in
Scotland for
four months.I
have visited
France.
Much of my youth was spent in Seattle. I went to Lowell, Meany, and
Garfield. I earned two AA degrees, one in Early Childhood Education. I went
to school at the University of Washington unitl I stopped to raise my
family.
I was a Head Teacher in the Head Start program for Seattle Public schools.
I was a susbstitute para educator in the Shoreline School District.
Finally I came back to Seattle where I love to mix food education and my
love of cooking together.
